Registration Steps

2-Step Registration Process:

1. Confirm enrollment

2 Complete Participation Agreement

Onboarding Starts Immediately after Registration:

After you complete registration, you will be taken to a page to start the 4-Step Onboarding Process. If you can not immediately start onboarding, you can access the instructions that will be sent to your email upon submitting the registration form. You will also automatically receive an emailed invitation to orientation as part of onboarding. We will also manually send out an invitation for recurring post-orientation group sessions as soon as possible.

CONFIRM ENROLLMENT

Mandatory Sessions

In this section you are confirming that you have made arrangements to attend all of the mandatory sessions. You are also prepared to spend time outside of sessions to complete coursework and optional one-on-one coaching. Overall, you will need to dedicate 10-14 hours total while enrolled in the basic 4-week program

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Participant agrees to enroll in the Boomin Marketing program, designed to enhance the business capabilities of minority-owned businesses. This program is a valuable and exclusive experience for individuals who want to actively work on their business during the program. The program includes essential group coaching session and bootcamps for 4 weeks. In addition to group coaching the program also includes optional one-on-one coaching sessions and coursework (worksheets and surveys). The Participant is aware they can contact Boomin University to request assistance,accommodations, or a program support meeting so they can successfully participate and complete the program.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANT

1. Onboarding and Orientation

1a.)(Required)

Participant acknowledges they have been selected for this program at no cost to them, paid for by the Organizer, its partners, and sponsors to support minority small business owners.

1b.)(Required)

Participant must complete an onboarding call with a designated coach as soon as possible after completing registration and before the program orientation.

1c.)(Required)

Participant is responsible for learning and requesting assistance, if needed, to ensure they can use tools to complete the program (e.g., required to watch onboarding videos on the online learning platform, UpCoach)

1d.)(Required)

Participant is required to attend the program orientation session to understand the full scope and expectations of the program.

2. Attendance and Engagement

2a.)(Required)

Participant must attend all mandatory weekly learning sessions and/or coaching sessions as scheduled.

2b.)(Required)

Participant must login to the online learning platform platform, UpCoach, at least once a week to access the online course modules and engage with the program content.

2c.)(Required)

The Participant is aware that a “Benefits Hold” will be initiated by the beginning of the second or third week of the four-week program if the Participant is falling behind or disengaged in the program. The Participant will receive an opportunity to avoid and remove the Benefits Hold during the program.

3. Communication

3a.)(Required)

Participant agrees to regularly check emails, respond promptly when necessary, and adhere to the communication guidelines set by the Organizer.

3b.)(Required)

Participant agress to proactively contact the Organizer in regards to assistance they may need and changes in their availability that will impact their attendance and completing requirements (coursework and coaching sessions).

3c.)(Required)

Participant is aware they can contact the Organizer to request assistance and provide formal notices at boomin@blackbusinessboom.com or the Boomin Help Desk at https://boomintraining.com/boomin-helpdesk

4. Coursework and Assignments

4a.)(Required)

Participant must complete assigned modules, surveys, and utilize the resources provided in UpCoach to ensure progress and successful completion of the program.

5. Technology Requirements

5a.)(Required)

Participation requires a reliable internet connection and the ability to use a desktop or laptop in a distraction-free environment.

5b.)(Required)

Participant is ultimately responsible for investing time toward understanding how to use the online learning platform, UpCoach, by reviewing the provided onboarding videos so they can complete coursework and assignments. If additional assistance is needed after reviewing the onboarding videos they may contact the Organizer.

6. Professional Conduct

6a.)(Required)

Participant agrees to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during all program activities. Any form of rude, inappropriate, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the program.

7. Special Opportunities

6a.)(Required)

Participant agrees if they are interested in Done-For-You (DFY) Marketing Assets they will promptly provide information to recieve these assets as assets will only can be provided within a certain time frame.

6a.)(Required)

Participant understands DFY Assets are per business owner for one business due to the Organizer needing to comply with a budget to serve as many business owners as possible.

6a.)(Required)

Participant understands that their DFY Assets will not be released or created if falling behind in the program (e.g. received or anticipated to receive Benefits Hold). Assets will not be provided or revoked if client is withdrawn from the program as well.

8. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Termination

8a.)(Required)

Participant must adhere to the cancellation and rescheduling policies. Failing to reschedule a coaching session 24 hours in advance or not showing up for a scheduled session will result in the forfeiture of that session. Not showing up is considered a “no-show” and you may be removed from the program. If you are more than 10 minutess late you will be marked as a “no-show”

8b.)(Required)

If a Participant is withdrawn from the program for any reason, their endorsement for the Boomin University Kiva Loan will be withdrawn, and any active applications will be canceled. The scholarship, if any, use to join program may also be considered foteited (can not be used for same program in the future or a different progam).

9. Post-Program

9a.)(Required)

Particpant understands the Organizer may use contact information post-program to follow-up on the impact the program may have made on their business.

9b.)(Required)

Participant may recieve tasks from their coach and understands that these tasks should not be priortized over coursework or prevent them from completing mandatory coursework ( worksheets and surveys) as coach assigned tasks could be completed post-program if needed.

10. Non-Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

10a.)(Required)

Participant acknowledges this program is a safe space for them to share freely about their business for optimal feedback and constructive assessment.

10b.)(Required)

Participant will keep all information shared by other Business Owners confidential and private.

10c.)(Required)

Participant will not disclose or share any/all proprietary and/or confidential information they have learned in this program. Including but not limited recordings.

10d.)(Required)

Participant acknowledges all content shared is proprietary , licensed to, and developed through great efforts by the Organizer.

10e.)(Required)

Should a conflict of interest develop, the Participant will disclose it to the Organizer in writing within 24 hours.

TERMS OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement will commence upon the Participant’s acceptance. By signing below, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement and the expectations set forth by the Boomin Marketing program.
